  1. This surprises me. Where is this information from and which ‘studies’ prove that it actually leeches calcium from the body? Everything I have read on nutritional web sites, fitness magazines etc advocate the drinking of milk. So lactose intolerant people cant drink it and you dont necessarily have to drink milk to be healthy and prevent fractures, but there is no way that drinking milk as part of a healthy balanced diet is bad for you!

  2. I am shocked at this? Where is this information from and what ‘studies’ prove that milk actually ‘leeches’ calcium from our bodies? Everything I have ever read and been advised by both dentists and doctors alike is that milk is good for you. You dont have to drink it to be healthy and not drinking it wont cause brittle bones but I cannot believe that drinking milk as part of a healthy, balanced diet is bad for you!!!

  3. Although apparantly your ethnic background has a huge impact on your ability to digest cows milk. Almost all western eurpoeans can digest milk. Everyone else – not so much.
    If true, I’d love to know what other dietry anomolies like that exist.
